Account Deletion
App: Futurity (developer: Futurity Technologies PTE. LTD)
This page explains how users of the Futurity mobile and web apps can request that their account and associated personal data be deleted. It applies to all Futurity products, including the Futurity Android app available on Google Play.
Click to copyHow to delete your account
You can delete your Futurity account in either of two ways.
Option 1 — Self-service (recommended)
If you can still sign in to your account:
- Open the Futurity app or visit https://futurity.work and sign in.
- Open Profile → Security (or visit https://futurity.work/dashboard/profile/delete-account directly).
- Read the warning, then tap "I understand, send verification code".
- Enter the 6-digit verification code that we send to your email.
- Your account will be scheduled for deletion with a 48-hour grace period. During the grace period you can return to the same page to cancel the request. After 48 hours, deletion is final.
Option 2 — Email request
If you no longer have access to your account (for example, you've uninstalled the app and lost access to your email), email dpo@futurity.work with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your Futurity account
- Confirmation that you want your account and associated data deleted
We will verify your identity before processing the request. We respond within 30 days (GDPR / PDPA / PIPEDA) or 45 days (CCPA/CPRA, with a possible 45-day extension).
Click to copyWhat data is deleted
When your account deletion is finalised, the following data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised:
| Data category | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account information (name, email, phone, date of birth, profile picture) | Deleted |
| Authentication data (password hash, Google sign-in identifiers) | Deleted |
| Chat and conversation content (your messages and AI responses) | Deleted |
| Vault files and uploaded documents/photos | Deleted within 30 days of account closure |
| Workflow data and execution logs | Deleted |
| Integration data (OAuth tokens for connected services) | Revoked and deleted |
| Personal preferences and settings | Deleted |
Click to copyWhat data is kept (and for how long)
Some data is retained for a limited period after account deletion, either because it is required by law or because it is needed for security and fraud prevention:
| Data category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Backup archives containing deleted data | Up to 30 additional days before purge |
| Usage and analytics data | 12 months (anonymised after) |
| Error reports (Sentry) | 90 days |
| Billing and payment records | 7 years (tax / legal requirements) |
| Audit and access logs | 12 months |
After the retention period expires, all remaining data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Click to copyPartial deletion (without deleting your account)
You don't need to delete your entire account to remove specific data. While signed in, you can:
- Delete individual chats from Corint → Chats.
- Delete files and folders from the Vault.
- Disconnect any third-party integration from Integrations (this revokes and deletes the associated OAuth tokens).
- Edit or remove profile fields (name, phone, profile picture) from Profile → Edit.
For broader deletion requests that don't fit the in-app controls, email dpo@futurity.work with the subject line "Data Rights Request".
